DONATIONS
What happens to my information when I donate through the website? Your generous donation is deposited directly into our bank account through our payment processing system. All transactions are protected by industry standard e-commerce security policies and practices. With rare exceptions, such as monthly donations, we do not store credit card information, and if storage is needed, we do so under heavy encryption.
Are there other ways to donate? Yes!

Are donations tax deductible? Our tax exempt status has been temporarily suspended. Please Click here to see if your donation is impacted.
What will my donation be used for? Donations are used to support our events and operations (website and software fee for example). We are entirely volunteer run and there are no paid staff. Donations will be used for equipment and other start up costs when needed.
PROGRESS
Can an existing veterinary facility be used and just staffed for after-hours? We continue to explore all options for securing the facility needed, including leasing a facility (from a vet or other party) or purchasing a facility, and cost and location are both primary considerations.
Where will you find veterinarian staff? Mostly through word of mouth and many, many meetings with local veterinarians, retired veterinarians and corporations. Through all these efforts, we have attracted emergency experiences veterinarians that have toured the area and are actively evaluating practice models.
SUPPORT
What can I do to help? Explore the website to see our progress and opportunities for you to help. We have recently identified an event coordinator for Port Townsend and we are looking for volunteers to help her at events. We also have opportunities for people with social media experience. As we are making plans to sell some merchandise on our website, we need someone as a merchandise coordinator - email us for details!
